Ar. Lau Ming Ngi and Ar. Thang Suh Chee were practicing graduate architects from Design Network Architects Sdn Bhd who were then offered as junior partners from 2008 to 2013. With 11 years of experience, both architects jointly set up an architecture consultancy partnership namely MNSC Architects in 2013.  On September 2019, with a bigger vision in providing better services for our clients, AkiEdge Sdn Bhd. was formed with recruitment of new director, Ar. Kong Yean Wei to be  part of the team. Thus, part of AkiEdge Sdn Bhd projects are continuation from MNSC Architects.

Passionate about modernist architecture that creates dialogues between people and places, the design intensive practice desires to craft efficient, sensible and dynamic architecture while also providing an economically sustainable and value-added design to the inhabitants’ lives. Their great interest and commitment is to produce significant projects, irrespective of size or budget.

Over the past 16 years, both Ming Ngi and SuhChee, whether as individuals or a team, have been very hands-on with their projects to ensure continual refinement of design ideas and building quality. It is through their efforts in the planning process, attention to the detail, and an intimate approach during construction that they are confident of making fine architecture at every scale. They have won numerous PAM awards under Design Network Architects Sdn. Bhd. (DNA)’s strong guidance and mentorship.
